This place has figured out basic fast-food pasta. Well, close enough at least. The dishes are fairly standard in terms of options. However, the pasta is cooked correctly so you do not have the impression that it is JUST a fast food joint. I got cream and artichoke hearts over pasta and was quite happy and finished satisfied with my meal. They give you giant cups of grated parmigiana and bread if you take it to go and they have a nice set up with real chinaware and metal utensils if you want to eat in - which is cool given their pasta bar setup.
Pasta et Dolce has quality ingredients based on my experience (I did not try their desserts) and is a superior option to Mezzo di Pasta or Francesca (where I and my colleagues are frequently disappointed) as far as pasta bars are concerned. Plus I was happy they gave me my change back and not an "avoir" for my ticket restaurant (they give cash back in increments of one euro).
I am still looking for a place that lets me pick the stuff I want (meat and veggies) and then throws it all in a wok/hot pan with the sauce I ask for (red/white/oil).
